Hey Kyle! Thanks for the suggestion - I'll bring it up with the CLI team 🙂

Adding to this, if this gets implemented it'd also be nice to not double-prefix the branch name if you accidentally pass it into CLI. E.g. i have prefix set to

gc/

. Running

gt create my-new-branch

should create a branch called

gc/my-new-branch

. Running

gt create gc/my-new-branch

should still just create

gc/my-new-branch

, not

gc/gc/my-new-branch

.
