ah thats the port GH uses for ssh, gonna guess thats not a coincidence and dig in a bit. But any insight into what
gt repo owner
is doing under the hood would be appreciated !
p
@Jacob Gold can help out here!
j
What's the output of
git config --get remote.origin.url
?
e
Copy code
<ssh://git@ssh.github.com:443/myorg/myrepo.git>
probably should set port in ssh config and remove from there?
j
you can also just override what we parse from the config with
gt repo owner --set <myorg>
looks like we need to update our regex to handle that case 😅
e
awesome thanks. put this stack up with “plain” git commands but will confirm this worked on next push 🚀
forgot to check this yday but still having some issues

hey ethan, i can at least look into those request IDs real fast and see if there's something obvious broken
e
awesome thanks, I’m happy to dig in more on my side as well
d
what is your org and repo on github? (e.g. github.com/company/repo)?
e
askchapter/spine
d
thanks
i'm doing some log diving. i started a thread in our slack about it, as this is outside my expertise a bit
did your repo ever get re-named?
j
What's the output of
gt repo name
e
Copy code
askchapter/spine
and yes the repo was renamed at some point
should I try updating that name config to be the original name?
j
ah, can you please run
gt repo name --set spine
e
perfect that worked
thanks for the help yall
j
no problem! this sparked a good convo about lots of ways we can improve the many layers of things that went wrong here, thanks for bumping the thread, and sorry for the inconvenience!
