<!channel> We are in the final weeks of Grails 8 development and have also been very actively releasing patch versions. Grails 8 is an absolutely massive release. Apache Grails is a full top level Apache Software Foundation project, as of Oct 7th 2025, just like Apache Tomcat and Apache Groovy, It is run the Apache way, in a transparent, vendor neutral and community driven process. Everyone is welcome to join the call and it is the main process which helps steer the project. Additionally, we welcome PRs from forked repos and would love to see many, many more. If you have deployed a Grails app to production, you are 100% qualified to help push the framework forward.
