<!channel> With the substantial changes with Grails 7, every Grails Plugin will require updates. The vast majority of Grails plugins have always been maintained by external developers. A small set of the most common plugins have been updated, but there are hundreds of others that may be in use. We are going to need to coordinate a large Volunteer Effort to update Existing Grails Plugins for Grails 7. https://github.com/apache/grails-core/discussions/15044 - GitHub discussion to start tracking the requests and coordinate volunteers to work on the updates. Updating a plugin is normally not that difficult and it is most efficient for an end user of the plugin to complete the updates, since they are actually using the plugin and verify functionality. With 7.0.0-RC2 coming in a few days and the final release in a few weeks, it is time to start the plugin update effort.
