This book was my entry into Java web programming.  There is a chapter on struts and another on EJB, neither seemed worth the cost to me.  Grails was the only reason I started using Spring and Hibernate, and even today I am not sure I would use Spring Boot without the extra dev productivity features provided by Grails.

EJB might as well be a four letter word that should not be uttered.  :joy:
