This is exactly the argument I was making to my employer. But then people start comparing job board postings counts and Stackoverflow surveys for Python devs vs "Grails", which is totally an unfair comparison in my opinion. My points about Grails being just Java and Spring Boot with a Groovy layer fell on deaf ears.
