It will all come full circle anyway. I'm fairly convinced that this push for serverless computing and serverless web services is just another name for Common Gateway Interface from 20 years ago. Request comes in, spin up a little lightweight process to handle it, and done. It's like we had to go all the way one direction to just come back to this.
