hi all, I inherited a grails 3.0.17 project and it has a lot of `println`s and Im slowly converting them into `log.xyz()`s. Question though. Given `println "hello ${value}", is it enough to just change it into
log.debug "hello ${value}"
..or should I change it into
log.debug "hello {}" value
. The reason I ask is because the former has GString manipulation regardless if debug log level is enabled or not, while the latter does not. But Im not sure if there is some groovy/grails compile time optimisation which translates this properly. Thoughts?
