@s1lv3rd3m0n Alonso (the other creator of the plugin) and I have been discussing for years to split the code in a "core" library + a Grails plugin. That way, with all the logic in that "core" it will be easier to use in other places like Spring Boot and Micronaut. But, TBH, we've never found the time to do it 😞
