Maybe GitHub is extracting the description from the first `META-INF/maven/**/pom.xml` it encounters, and since you are using the shadow plugin without <https://imperceptiblethoughts.com/shadow/configuration/filtering/|filtering>, you end up having those `pom.xml` from your shaded dependencies
