is this Safe :tm: to do from an isolated projects perspective? Also, does it even work? Also please note, coding in Slack, consider the following block pseudocode
```// settings.gradle.kts
gradle.afterProject { p -&gt;
  p.dependencies.add("api", platform(project(":platform")))
}```
or would I want `beforeProject` or even `allprojects`?

It's not safe. There should be a replacement API for this soon-ish.
