you could replace the whole class by putting it in a parent classloader (e.g. buildSrc)

Hm, I'll need to look into it tomorrow morning with fresh eyes. Right now it doesn't seem like it's being used

I need to add dependency on `kotlin("gradle-plugin")`  in the `buildSrc` but when I make it `implementation` then it doesn't pick my class, but the original one. If I make it `compileOnly`  then it can't find other classes from the Kotlin Gradle plugin and crashes during configuration

It was being used, I was just too tired to see a mistake in my reflection code. Thanks for your help!
