Well, the error is quite clear, isn't it? The properties file have a specific format, which is ISO-8859-1 with unicode escapes by default. You probably have put a Windows path in there that contains

\u

without escaping the backslashes or replacing them by forward slashes. This results in an illegal unicode escape which is what the error complains about.
