If you want a different repository just change it after the "conversion".

I have existing maven dependencies and want to convert them too , while conversion its showing as error and couldnt download maven-plugin-api, wagon-http, maven-compact from <http://repo.maven.apache.org|repo.maven.apache.org>

Ah, yeah, that "conversion" needs some libs and it gets them from Maven Central and that is currently hard-coded and not configurable. So unless you want to change your DNS configuration so that it points to somwhere else or can use some proxy to make the access work or similar, you should just not use the "conversion" but just create the build manually.

The "conversion" can anyway just do some basic transfer and any plugins you use and so on cannot be converted automatically anyway.
