For a working child... I tried looking through the threads couldn't find a clear answer... M1 for investing? Fidelity for Daf? Any recommended HYSA? Any recommendations for banking in Lakewood? Also do most people have a linked account with their parents or should it be solo? Thanks.
Child is over 18, single

I'd recommend m1 for the IRA and HYSA (assuming they have or will have soon 10k in their in the next 12-24 months), Fidelity for the brokerage and DAF. Banking should be online with something like Ally. You can use ATMs to get cash using ally and deposit cash at walmart using Ally. Avoid the big banks. Don't have linked accounts if they are responsible. You can send/receive money via so many ways nowadays.
If you are teaching them DAFs, show them how to give maiser by donation appreciated stock from the brokerage directly in fidelity instead of contribution cash. Gets rid of all their capital gains.

Thank you!! Any specific way to split up their income to allocate to the above?

Yes, but I would need to meet with them to help with that.
