Month 5: 7/9 trades profitable, + $137, overall + $854. Trades were one loss going long on GLD, a small gain from long on B, a moderate gain long on PLTR with a small loss as well, a small gain long on QQQ, a moderate gain long on COST, and 3 trades long on SLV. I am still mostly focused on precious metals and miners, but keeping an eye on AI and defense related stocks due to the government pumping money in those areas. My trading is much improved with the GEX levels indicator and i use that as my primary indicator now on a daily chart with a weekly timeframe for trades.
Other than precious metals i do see some high grade stocks at a discount right now, as compared to the drop in April. COST is one of my triple A plays right now i expect to hold longer term. Price is currently around April lows and is down around 15% from peak. I shop at Costco and think its an actual good company with a lot of value in the long run.
I also watched an episode of Kosher Money that had a lot of good basic investment and trading advice for those unfamiliar, and one particular thing he mentioned was that he thinks it is ok for people to take 5% of their money and put into a "cowboy account" as he calls it to trade freely with actively if you feel so inclined. This is the same principle i use and my max loss at anytime is 5%. If i hit that i would stop actively trading completely, and when i have got close i slowed down my trades and minimized money in trades to keep from hitting that number. Here is the whole video for anyone interested although its very similar to what is advised here.
