This is a very confusing screen, what is supposed to happen when I type in 80 and press done? Sometimes it adds that amount to whatever is already assigned (making it 130 assigned) and sometimes it overwrites it (making it 80 assigned)

it always overrides it unless you hit plus or minus first

It overrides the assigned amount not the available amount, so If there was 0 assigned but 50 from last month it would go to 130

Considering that the assigned column is hidden until you press on the category (with progress bars) it makes it very confusing

i do not claim that YNAB has the best UX just the best results 🙂

At least now I understand why I don't always get the result I expect, thanks
