1. If I don't have access to youtube, what's the best way to learn about YNAB? 2. How do you handle a cash "account" in YNAB? I created a cash category, but when trying to create a transaction for it, one of the fields is "account" and my cash category isn't listed there, just credit cards/bank accounts.

They have pretty good docs but if you have the mobile app they embed some of their videos in there under the "help" tab, you might find what you're looking for there
For cash you should create a separate cash account
and you'd manually enter transactions

for cash it sounds like you accidentally created a category, but you don’t want a cash category, you want a cash account

My dentist strongly recommended me getting an electric toothbrush, and then proceeded to tell me that my teeth looked like I brushed with an electric toothbrush. In my head I was like, "so why would I get an electric one?" 😂
