I haven’t bought a car in years but one of my cars is starting to go the way of all metal. I would probably buy a used car (although not too used because I don’t want to have to start with maintenance right away) so that it is more cost effective. I really don’t want to go through the whole dealership haggling and feeling like I’m getting taken for a ride thing. Is there a better way?
Bonus question: I’m pretty sure that I’m looking for a minivan. Any thoughts on which make and model is a good one?

I bought a minivan 6 months ago and did a ridiculous amount of research and ended up with the current recommendation of sienna 2021, 2022 or 2023. If you don’t want to deal with the haggling yourself, this guy does it for $500 for you and finds the best deal for whatever you want +1 410-913-0206

I had a good experience with Car Shadchan in Lakewood. He’s not an official dealership - he orchestrates deals between private sellers and buyers directly, and takes a fee of a couple hundred from each. You can see his inventory on WhatsApp. <tel:(732)925-3574|(732) 925-3574>

I personally only buy from official dealerships. Certified pre-owned (well before this market lol) because I want the company backed checks, warrantees, and maintenance plans. You pay a premium in the short term to get the dealership but in the long term I feel that I have made the money back in the warranties and guarantees of a certified pre owned vehicle

I second the 2020+ ( depending on the make) as each major model change usually involves significant safety improvements. One thing to be aware of to your benefit, is that many dealers are selling brand new cars for cheaper than a used car due to inventory overstock and a new car will give you the option for very cheap financing from the manufacturer

My 2021 recommendation is only in regards to and specifically for the Sienna. I would have a different year recommendation for different make/models.
Yeah I bought a new sienna because it was cheaper than a used one lol

Carvana and Enterprise Car sales are no-haggle. Just compare to KBB and NADA
