Honestly, I probably made a bad call with doing that FPGA Ergo miner, not because the coin isn't good, but because it turns out that we just need more memory bandwidth to make it better and we don't have it.

I've been thinking how would the market accept non-recourse loans. Kinda how your house (collateral) never gets liquidated in case of a price drop in the housing market (volatility). It only gets liquidated in the case you miss your payments. It’s basically a transfer of risk from the borrower to the lender, but in the case of lenders with a long-term view on the collateral (crypto asset) they may not really care a lot about short-term volatily. That’s the risk. The reward is the volume of loans would be much greater if borrowers are not worried about losing all their collateral all the time.
