One of the biggest problems with p2p defi loans is the automated liquidations.

I've been thinking how would the market accept non-recourse loans. Kinda how your house (collateral) never gets liquidated in case of a price drop in the housing market (volatility). It only gets liquidated in the case you miss your payments. It’s basically a transfer of risk from the borrower to the lender, but in the case of lenders with a long-term view on the collateral (crypto asset) they may not really care a lot about short-term volatily. That’s the risk. The reward is the volume of loans would be much greater if borrowers are not worried about losing all their collateral all the time.
