Mempool has a 1000tx limit by default so there is plenty of space. Although it can be set to a lower number if you need it to. I was just curious what would happen when full and answer was it would be rejected unless s higher fee per byte was submitted. Is there a way to clear the mempool manually? Alephium has an API for that.

wym clear the mempool manually? each node runs their own mempool based on certain filters, its unlikely you would manually intervene instead of just setting filters

(re : why isn't it on spectrum if it's so gr...) Aleph is only 2 years old. They just released their Eth bridge on testnet. They also have a Dex on testnet. And you can solo mine it with a a few GHs. AND it's profitable to line of you are on $0.1 kWh!

Mempool is full and I can't submit my own tx. I'd like to clear it so that I can send my own tx... Not really a problem, i know, but would be a usef feature.

You can clear it and submit your own tx but if it is not competitive in fee rates it wont propagate

What is the reason to have a limit for mempool size? Is it a global parameter or can every miner set it individually?
