Could introduce forms of irl collateral into the dao contract. If total output is not received by end of rounds (ie they didn’t pay payments after payout) then liquidate irl colateral. Not sure how irl trusts would work with a dao tho.

ya hard to implement on the internet. thought process was if this tool was available in the simplest version, it would be up to the people to form their own groups of people they "trust". if UI was good enough places that do this with cash, they could pick it up and start using the blockchain

You could also remove the need for trust. Let's say you created a community development fund. To be part of the fund you have to put in X erg/month, voting is to determine which third party it goes to, etc. You could do variations like voting is proportional to length of chain of monthly contributions, etc. Over time, it could turn into a prestige thing.
