another topic could be about the comfort of custodianship (chains that are not really decentralized) vs chains like ergo...how ergo can still succeed in a world where a large amount of people feel safer with centralized entities.

Current supply can be confusing, as it can refer to either current maximum supply, as you stated, this is maximum supply - burned. Or current circulating supply, which is tokens emitted - tokens burned.

So using max supply & circulating supply is most clear imo.

But babygrenade is correct, it will still be confusing if the info provided is inaccurate.

@ErgoMonitor_bot would sometimes be unable to get the token info because of a bug in the node indexer in <= 5.0.8. I've added a temp workaround using explorer, so from now on all token info will be filled in.

(re @HQ3rr : Sooo, give me the soluction hahaha) If you have the data, circulating supply is really useful. That data is not easy to find, so great if you can provide it. If you can't, Max supply is easier to provide, and is a constant, in most cases.
