  • > (re : *<SebasGhost5 | CardanoPunks> I agree*) But in all honesty. Enough is however much you feel supports your financial goals within the ecosystem. I personally plan on utilizing duckpool.I’m once it’s fully operational. And I will be using a portion of my portfolio for lending pools in that platform. And the amount will depend on return.

  • Personal preference. I like the way duckpools lending pools rather than takin in a direct loan and stuck to those terms only. From what I understand, with duckpools you can add liquidity to lending pool, multiple loans can pull from that pool and as long as the liquidity/reserve to cover the current loans is there you can pull your funds out or at least partial. Feels like less risk and less liability on one lender. Very general explanation. Spectrum LP would be 2nd option, currently reviewing options there too.

  • What determines the liquidity if your funds? Would be super inconvenient to not be able to withdraw. At least sigmafi has a maturity date

  • > (re @dadreboi : *with duckpools? in beta at least you could rem...*) Yeah, I would think as loans mature the liquidity comes available either the collateral or the repayment, if there’s not enough reserves 1-1 to take out your funds. So hopefully if it becomes highly used there will be loans maturing almost daily. It will be interesting to see how this scales and what whales will try to do to manipulate. I’ll be starting quite conservative.

  • What's the plan if these funds run out? With the current spending it will take 2 years before the treasury is depleted

  • yeh Outgoings are reviewed consistently depending on price and more formally every 60-90 days. The EF reduced their outgoings by ~15% at the end of 2022 in response to market conditions. Please note that the Foundation's primary role is to bootstrap the ecosystem. There are funds for at least another 2-3 years, excluding development financiers and token allocations from ecosystem projects we have supported in the pipeline.
