I am getting error modulenotfound:no module named elementary-cli after install elementary data I used sudo pip install elementary-data

Can you make sure you installed elementary inside the virtualenv and that the code that throws the ModuleNotFound exception runs from this virtualenv ?

I tried the same Cloned elementary data from got Then vitualize the environment Start the installation

If you are behind a proxy and on Windows, then you probably need to install python-certifi-win32 as suggested in the post

Yes I am in proxy but using docker Linux image

Ok, thats probably the root cause of the problem. I don’t know how you update the local certificate on the linux image to be compatible with you proxy

Hey @Balu Subramanian, previously these steps worked for some of the other users, maybe try using these: 1. run 
pip install --upgrade certifi
2. 
where python
3. 
cd
to that path 4. on the python path do 
sudo python install_certifi.py
