Hi All! we are using Elementary, and recently we have been experiencing some latency due to the on-run-end hooks of Elementary. it can take up to 4-5 minutes, and it happens even in models that do not have elementary tests configured for them. I wonder if it is something that unique to our system or if other engineers experiencing the same issue?

Hi @Itay Dar! 1. what version of the dbt package are you using? 2. can you check the dbt/log files (or send them to me and we'll look together) to see which specific task is taking the most time?

I had the same issue. to be 100% honest, I'm still having but taking 4, 5 minutes doesn't bother me. But to take only that time i had to disable columns autoupload

disable_dbt_columns_autoupload: true

, with column uploading it was taking almost 30minutes, sometimes timeouts or something similar

dbt-snowflake==1.6.2

Just circling back after our dm correspondence to update here as well that what @Andre Almeida wrote is correct- disabling column upload should resolve the performance issues. Please let me know if that worked out typingcat
