is there a configuration that needs to happen to allow external calls to port 9002? I can curl localhost:9002 and get info back but can't access from laptop. All ports open to laptop in firewall. Can even hit the elastic search 9200 port with a browser from the laptop. Internal on VM hosting the containers, I cannot use the <local IP>:9002 it times out. Only localhost:9002 works?

Hi @cold-city-21137 just to confirm, you are hosting on one machine in your local network and attempting to connect from another?

Hosting a Ubuntu 20 VM in Azure... hosting the containers there. Network - Allow all ports and protocols for my IP. SSH and 9200 working. 9002 is timing out, but it times out on the VM when I use CURL <http://looks|http://<VM IP>:9002 > It looks like the VM or the container is blocking anything but Localhost (including the VMs IP) . iptables - shows ACCEPT and listening from anywhere. So I feel like there is a config setting that allows external traffic somewhere. Laptop is separate client. Here are the container ports

Hey @cold-city-21137, it seems like this could be a port forwarding/NAT issue - could you try the instructions here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51094655/how-to-enable-port-forwarding-on-azure-vm?

not using a load balancer... I'm going to delete the VM and retry
