When the button Lineage is hidden, can Datahub manual add upstream and downstream dataset for a dataset?

yes. Hidden Button means no data is present currently

manually adding dependencies through UI is not supported. But you can do it programmatically or through the API. e.g. https://github.com/linkedin/datahub/blob/master/metadata-ingestion/examples/library/lineage_emitter_rest.py

Hi, i’m very new to datahub. I was able to ingest one of my database into datahub. Kind of interested to learn about creating lineage here but i’m not a python expert. Do you mind to elaborate on above manual steps. Say I want to create lineage from db

table -> table

or

table -> kafka

as up & down stream. Appreciate if you can share curl cmd examples for (api’s) above scenarios.
