Here is a high-level question: Is there a graphical view of the DataHub built-in metadata model available anywhere? I have not found one yet. I would find it helpful for discussing the mapping between my sponsor's metadata specifications and the DataHub built-in metadata model.

Hi Catherine, about 30% dwon the page there's a DH meta model. I've re-modelled it in more detail in erwin and will be able to share it with the communitu sometime in the next 2 weeks. https://datahubproject.io/docs/metadata-modeling/metadata-model/

That's fantastic! I was going to do an ER model but I'll wait for yours.

it will contain all the aspects per object but not the lower level detail beneath the objects as too much work

Agree too much work vs value. The link you included above gets me to the dataset schemas for each aspect which is one thing I've been looking for for days. Thank you for that link!!!! Scrolling down to Aspects on this page https://datahubproject.io/docs/generated/metamodel/entities/dataset

Hi Catherine, hope the attached pdf data model is useful. We use erwin as our data modelling tool and I used BigQuery as the db in the model so we could ingest the aspects (denoted by the downward pointing triangle by the attribute names). Still a work in progress so any info you can shre with us would be much appreciated. The PDF is printed 3 pages left to right, then second and third sets of 3 pages. I've also added a doc which explains how we built the data model in case you want to do the same in your data modelling tool
thank you 1
