Courier outage? AWS Related?

Could be AWS in us-east-1 is down.

yep thats unfortunately correct - we are indeed experiencing degradation due to AWS us-east-1 outage. We are monitoring it and 🤞 hope it gets better soon

Courier isn't multi-region? Trying to identify action plan

@User We are multi-AZ but not currently multi-region. We're working on additional regions right now, but that doesn't help for today's AWS outage...

@Troy yes agree! The complete AWS region is experiencing outrage even with multi AZ it wouldn't help.

Out of Courier context but the Health Dashboard by AWS is not updating in real-time. Outrage has made health dashboard also act weird.

AWS Status page is hosted in US-EAST-1 is what I heard, the affected region

That is correct.

Hi folks. FYI we have seen message volumes resume through our API and things seem to be solid. AWS’s dashboard still lists the incident as ongoing. We’ll continue to update our status page if we identify additional problems.
