Hey all! Have any of you ever gone back in touch with a client you parted ways a longer while ago after seeing their content has really dwindled down since you stopped working for them? I have a client who wanted me to sign a non-compete and didn't want to budge on their end so I had to leave but their content hasn't been great since and I was considering getting in touch to see if they've changed their mind.

Asking them to eat crow? I'd be super careful.
Do you have other work/ clients you've helped since the departure you can cite for them?

@average-forest-21897 - I thought perhaps some of their marketing strategy has changed since and they may want a freelance contributor again (still without the non-compete of course), but I haven't tried this with any client before 🙂 Thinking about it now, maybe it's not the best idea. 😄

Sometimes, it's not about the work, but the nature of the client. Alignment is a huge piece of the puzzle.
