Hi all esp freelancers ! Any platform recommendations for keeping track of invoices and businesses expenses where there is some connecivity with emailed confirmation receipts? What I mean in particular: if I make a purchase for LLC - I would like to not have to make a note of it first in a spreadsheet - I would love to have a way to keep track in a more automated way. Thanks!

Hi! I use Quickbooks Self Employed. If you sync your business bank account to Quickbooks and use that card to make purchases, then your expenses will automatically connect to Quickbooks. You may have to update how the expenses are tagged, but there are ways to automate these tags if the expenses are ongoing.

you could probably build a homegrown solution with zapier but i think @adamant-garden-34336’s suggestion is probably the best one

I use Novo (https://www.novo.co/) and Wave (https://www.waveapps.com/). Between those two free tools I can pretty much do everything I need to.

I’ve used Harvest where you can input expenses under a project from your mobile and take a pic of the receipt to attach.
