Happy Tuesday everyone. What are the best methods to find Podcast guests? Is there a platform to automate the process? I am already using Twitter and LinkedIn but I thought asking here might help me if I am missing some vital stuff. Thanks.

I would never recommend automating any process, let alone something to identify potential podcast guests. I would continue to utilize Twitter and LinkedIn. Research top lists for the niche group. For example, if your podcast is more general around the topic of B2B marketing, there are plenty of Top B2B Marketing lists out there. Also, authors that have new books coming out are frequently looking for podcasts that they can join to discuss their book.

Well, you can always ask around here... (I have new books out if you're interested.) Also, I know of three sites which help match podcasters to guests. Matchmaker.fm Podbooker.com PitchPodcasts.com

You can try #content-podcasting to find guests, also we had a great AMA with @bitter-tiger-36621 who runs Podsicle media, a b2b podcasting agency which might be useful to listen to here

HARO has found me countless interview guests. (Not podcasts but still live interviews.) Another option is to harness your current guests. Ask who they'd recommend and ask for intros.

Hello there! Just wanted to let you know that Terkel is a better alternative to HARO and an official Superpath partner. You can contribute expertise or source it from others. Learn more here → https://terkel.io/

Another thing that's been very successful for other podcasts is at the end of each episode, ask your guest who they would recommend. That easily sets you up for intros afterward.

Oh hey, another HARO alternative! Awesome.

@icy-wall-6634 thank you, Justin. I agree with you, automating the process won't really yield the best result. I scoured comments on LinkedIn and was able to find some pretty exciting profiles. And I also found some good ones on podbooker.com (thank you @brash-dog-93919 for the recommendation).
Thank you @fresh-battery-25735
