is this to HR or the hiring manager? I usually have different questions. For HR I keep it pretty general, but for the hiring manager I dig into why is the role open, whats the leadership team like, what's their management style like, what problem are they trying to solve with content. I interview for director and above roles, so I also ask questions about how to get things done--is it a heavily matrixed org, what kind of cross functional dependencies there are, how does one get their projects prioritized, what kind of resources, team staffing etc. I also try to get a good understanding of the role they see content play in the company-- do they see it as a key strategic business driver or is it more of an afterthought or something they think they should have but don't know what to do with.
