02/15/2023, 3:57 PMDoes anyone know what is the right way to get the exact URL for a person's Slack DM within a Slack like this one (i.e. the link that will take you right to their profile so you can message them)?
I have been given two pieces of advice:
1. Take the member's Member ID and add it to the end of the URL for this private Slack
2. Right click on the member's DM and click Copy>Copy Link
Each of these gives a different result and I can't figure out which is the correct one.

02/15/2023, 4:02 PMThat link pops your profile window up on the right side of Slack, and I can message you from there. Copying the link from our DM chat is an “archive” link that might not work for others because our DMs are like private channels.
