I suppose you need my account ID and bucket name, is that something that can be safely shared here or no (bucket is private)

We’ve found some issues with bucket metrics and we’re working on resolving it, so it might not be 100% accurate. Rest assured though, if you get overbilled, we’ll reach out!

I presume the numbers reported by aws-cli are most reliable then? For calculating how much I'll pay, that is

Yeah if it’s just doing a ListObjects then that should be accurate.

a while ago someone linked a site that displays like 100 images and you can test it with 1.1 and h2 (spoiler: the h2 one is orders of magnitude faster)

stupid hack idea: pack all the images into a tar, unpack with a service worker

bucket names are per account and account IDs are not inherently unsafe i.e. nobody other than Cloudflare employees can do anything with them so its usually fine, but DMs can be used if that arises and you dont feel comfortable sharing

I have a dumb question: whats the easiest way for me to make a presigned PUT URL for one-off testing? is there a CLI tool that can make one for me (they all seem to only make GETs) or will I have to pick a language and make something using those examples?

you can allow users to upload a file by giving them a presigned put url

    > This test is a similar to the https://www.httpvshttps.com/ website but also shows HTTPS without HTTP/2 (i.e. over HTTP/1.1). For more details see this blog post.
