cleanup should end any multipart uploads

yes, rclone cleanup only work for files older than 24 hours

i haven't been able to find the flag that makes it delete any pending uploads at all

this really sucks when you really want to delete a bucket but need to wait 24 hours...

Oh, that's a strange default. Try this:

rclone cleanup --option max-age=0

rclone doesn't recognize that --option

and i tried --max-age and --min-age flags too

this really sucks because i need to delete this bucket to recreate it in another region, and i can't because of pending uploads, and there is no way to delete it from the web interface/rclone

and there is no way to create another bucket with same name so i'm stuck for 24 hours

creating it with the same name wouldn’t change the location of it

You could also change the multipart upload lifecyle to 0 and wait like 1 hour (?) for it to catch up

The jurisdiction stuff is being actively worked on thankfully, but yeah the hint system is kind of barely-useful right now

Is there not any other bucket name you can use for now? You can always sync the buckets and then change the jurisdiction later when they have support for it.

For now I think you are stuck with the poor location, but you should be able to improve it later (?)

this will drive lots of users away when they realize they have the wrong location and can't change it

AWS buckets are firmly in the location you pick, but they cannot be moved and don't replicate. So it's kind of differently shaped over there.

You are already deleting everything in the bucket, so I am unclear on why you cannot use a different bucket name

the bucket name is part of the path on a rclone mount

can't just expect people to change the path whatever they are doing use just because r2 can't handle recreating a bucket with same name

? Why can't they change the config or pull down a new config?
