I’ve added a wildcard proxied record pointing to 192.0.2.1 on my domain just so that when I want to set anything up that’s Cloudflare related on a subdomain it’s already done. However anything else just gets a timeout error. How can I have these subdomains just say “DNS address not found” in a browser as if it’s dead?

You'd have to replace the wildcard with individual records, or instead, point it to some kind of fallback 404 page

I don't think you can. Also, for CF-related records, we recommend an AAAA record pointing to 100::

    Is that in the documentation?

I saw 192.0.2.1 in the documentation.

(I still think these should be automatically added.)

I believe that was the older recommendation. There was also 1.1.1.1, which doesn't work anymore.

I’ll change it to 100:: then.

They are, for Custom Domains on Workers, and on Pages.

The DNS Docs still say either 100:: (IPv6 Discard) or 192.0.2.0 (Test-Net). The Reserved Test-net range (for documentation and example code) is 192.0.2.0/24, which does include 192.0.2.1, so either should be fine forever, shouldn't break like 1.1.1.1

100:: is prettier though imo, and more obvious

The easiest way would probably be with a real origin that just responds with that page/result. Not a lot of CF Products products support wildcards, can't do it easily with R2/Worker Custom Domains or anything that would just work. You could technically do that with Worker Routes, having a wildcard route for all subdomains/paths and adding exceptions (another worker route with service none) for each domain you want to use, but that's not really scalable

Is there any way to manage/see a Worker that an App installs?

Doesn’t seem to show anywhere. Workers Workers Routes Workers Custom Domains DNS Am I missing something?

I don't think you can, since I believe it isn't technically on your account. I wouldn't really recommend using Apps anymore if you can help it, since it seems they aren't really being supported anymore.

Yeah, I’ll wait until Apps V2.

I would like to transfer my domain to cloudflare which currently has a WHOIS with my information hidden for privacy reasons. If I transfer my domain to you, will you not publish my personal information in the WHOIS?
