What is the last version enhancement before Lucee 5 becomes LTS only and 6 is the primary focus? <@U070SQMD1>

<@U1T4JUL8Z> Lucee 5 doesn't "become" LTS, it *is* LTS.

Being LTS means that Lucee 5 will continue to receive bug fixes and security updates for some amount of time (which LAS has never really defined).

At least that is what LTS means to most companies-- I think the idea is that 5.3.9 will hopefully be the last release in 5.x

Good point, so the dev happening right now isn't being taken "from" 6.  It's going to both places

5.3 will be merged into 6 sometime soon, just been battling OSGI inter dependencies, the upshot being Lucee becomes way more robust

robust means some extensions currently rely on libs from other extensions. I have updated the build processes (alllllllllllllll of them) to expose this

It's been a massive task for sure, but Lucee is getting better for it :thumbsup:
