It's time for a new mouse! A few years ago I got a Razer DeathAdder Elite that was programmable, worked with my home Mac and work Windows machines, and had the funky glowing lights that I didn't care about. Razer decided to stop supporting the Mac, so now I'm in the market for a new mouse. So I want one that has multiple, programmable buttons, (having a button dedicated to CF comments rocks), works equally well on Windows and Mac OS, and prefer corded USB but am open to wireless. Do any of you use such a mouse that you would recommend? Okay, funky glowing lights would be okay too.

I recently bought the Logi MX Master 3 (wireless, bluetooth). Love it.

I was just looking at that one. It's good to hear from someone that has it.

Before that, I stuck to corded mice. But I must say, battery life is beyond acceptable. Use it daily, lots of clicks, movement, etc. I only need to charge it like... I forgot when I last needed to charge it. Says enough (about the lifetime expentancy, not my memory xD).

I like the SteelSeries Rival 5. The software sucks, but you just need to set it up once and forget about it. You also have a lot of control over the lighting and programmable buttons.

Just saw my error on mouses. I do apologize, not a native English speaker here, didn't know where my head was at that moment, @Brian.

I'll throw a +1 for the Logi MX Master 3 wireless bluetooth mouse. Been using one for about 2 years now while working from home. No complaints. Only have to charge it about once a month (might even be once every 2 months). Charges pretty fast on USB-C. While it's charging I fall back to my Surface travel mouse.

I had a DeathAdder, the non elite one, I loved it. I've switched to the Logitech Triathlon now which I love, free spinning mouse wheel wheel, nice software to customise buttons, long lasting battery etc etc Main thing for me is I can use it on 3 devices, PC, Laptop, Android Phone. Paired with the Logitech K780 keyboard as well, it's a lovely desktop. Heard loads of good things about other Logitech Mice and Keyboards (the MX Master as @satauros was the other one on my shortlist) https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/products/mice/m720-triathlon.html

I've also switch to wireless over corded as battery life is great, I've got rechargeable AAs in my mouse and I rarely change them, but I think the Master is USB rechargeable?

Problem with many of these mice you all mention is that they're right hand only. As someone who's left handed, that's a no sale from the beginning.
