Question about Lucee Single Mode vs Multi Mode. I was just testing on a development server of mine and I ran into a weird error that probably is not an error but expected behavior. My setup is a Window 2019 server using IIS. Once I switched to Single Mode it appears that different sites are not working independently of each other. For example, I have 2 ColdBox sites and one uses an interceptor while the other does not. If I start up the one using the interceptor first all works good but when I go an browse to the second site ( different subdomain ) it errors out trying to load that interceptor that does not belong to it. So they are colliding, is this expected? For now I am going to switch back to multi mode as this was not happening under that setup. A follow up question to that, is how will Lucee 7 handle this? I just watched the Mid-Michigan User Group meeting with Gert and it is my understanding that 7 will be a single admin.

That is the expected behavior -- one Lucee instance per site (opposed to how old ACF and more recent Lucee did things). You will essentially need a separate webroot defined for each site that runs Lucee in the web.conf / server.conf on the server itself. Alternatively, this might be a good time to look at containerization, since that is the direction things are going.

Thank you @quetwo, this particular client is not working with containerization so I will make sure to have the individual webroot defined in the configuration files. I thought this is what mod_cfml was doing and that single mode would treat each site as it's own root. They still show up separate at the footer of the main dashboard page. I switch back to Multi Mode and all is good again.
