Sorry for off-topic, but hoping to get some impressions from anyone here who happens to read my blog (which is still reasonably on-topic for CFML I guess). Q: For the ppl here that read my blog... how have the lengths of these Kotlin musings I've been doing? Long / short / shrug / ?
Context: sometimes I get to a point and go "hrm... I've got to a natural break point, but it seems a bit short, so I'll just go and investigate the next random thing and write about that here too". But maybe keeping them topic-focused but possibly short might be a thing too.

I like more data than less and I have become lazy over the past few years and refuse to blog anything as of late simply because it's %LIKE% work. Granted I have written way overly long and now ridiculously copied network guides, but I digress. :)

I always find your mussing's entertaining and often informative, If they ramble a little, that is fine. If advice is wanted, I would try to ensure you apply some SEO so that the topics covered are discoverable. Better on the page than a post it

Yeah I don't bother actively promoting it any more. I'm not really after traffic... I just like writing about stuff, and if ppl get something out of it: cool. If they never know about me: cool.
I only need to be on people's radars when I'm looking for work, and I can personally promote my work then when needs must
I've only had three jobs this century so far, so I don't move often...

I have had a few more than that, but I understand that. Here in the states, unless someone really, really wants to know my skillset, I will devulge all my projects, otherwise, I am happy hiding behind an alias as I do not job hop often and I am opinionated as hell and everywhere I go, I have offended someone on some level as the current culture is such that calling a man in a dress , a man in a dress will get you fired.

Well: you do you (but maybe: not around me).

I feel like they are about right. Definitely enough there to give me as a non-Kotlin person a good feel for what you’re poking at and figuring out but not so much that it feels like a slog to wade through. And I’ve always appreciated your unvarnished “call it as I see it” take on stuff.

Thanks Ron.
