You can simplyfy this by replacing the IF logic with the following

// Calculate the start and end dates of the previous week

var endDate = DateAdd("d", -dayOfWeek + 1, currentDate);

var startDate = DateAdd("d", -6, endDate);

but it assumes the weekday starts on Monday

not exactly, so here i will explain again the red is the today date the green is the section means the weekendday is Sunday, so the week will start from Monday to the Sunday the Green line shows that 11 to 17th march are the previous weekend, like this the case for the friday and saturday will work, but in their case, the start of the week can be sunday or saturday and the weekendday will be either friday or saturday

The latest code I posted returns the 17th if you run for Sunday, 16th if you run for Saturday & 15th if you run for Friday. If that is not what you want then what dates do you expect?
