This might not be the right channel - but are there any takes on Vercel vs. netlify for hosting small sites - I would like to shortcut dev time on some semi-personal projects and use some of the great TailwindUI Templates (https://tailwindui.com/templates) running next.js. Would either of those two hosting platforms be "better" for later plugging in a CFML CMS (MasaCMS or ContentBox ) as a pure backend option for some content changes? Not sure if my question is clear... but let's imagine the TailwindUI Next.js template does 90% of what I need for a project after changing some texts, images, css - but then I might want to supply a JSON file via Masa CMS or ContentBox with matching articles/products/whatever and render that on a page of the template being hosted on either Vercel or Netlify - which one would you go for? Price-wise they seem similar, again, we*re talking tiny sites here with infrequent updates. Thanks for thoughts!

I've used Netlify to host a static site with 11ty with a scheduled build that pulls in data via an API to generate a JSON file that updates the static pages - https://www.mastersbasketballtournaments.com/

My next test is to use something like HTMX for the interactive parts and TinaCMS as a data store.

thanks @richard.herbert for the update - nice site!

That one's an off-the-shelf Bootstrap theme that I've adapted. The site rebuilds every night so that past tournaments fall off the top of the list of the static page. What do you have in mind?
