Thoughts on these two gists? This one uses generic CFML, runs fine on CF. Craps out on Lucee: https://trycf.com/gist/f279517d7d364e4a90fdc78f4883880d/acf2023?theme=monokai This one uses Lucee-only syntax, and "works", but contradicts the docs (which is the second example should throw an exception, and it does not): https://trycf.com/gist/24b28362228b44ef9d91f9c8c5714d0b/lucee5?theme=monokai https://docs.lucee.org/reference/tags/http.html#attribute-throwonerror I think it's a docs bug, as the prescribed behaviour (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/coldfusion/cfml-reference/coldfusion-tags/tags-g-h/cfhttp.html) is that
throwOnError
defaults to
false
, not
true
. I think I've raised this before, but unsure. The shite behaviour from
cfhttp
is certainly new to me though.

lol, add semicolons and see what happens.

OMG nuuuu
Oh. For. Goodness. Sake. #pileOfShite

It's especially bad when you're constantly switching between typescript and cfml.

I'm thinking it's only bad when you switch TS->CFML, Making you question your life choices etc 😄

Oh I've stopped doing that.

if I convert your non working Lucee code to tag format, it works in both engines.
