Hey all, heads up here. There is a remote ColdFusion position that is being posted on LinkedIn and potentially elsewhere for UC Davis that is not legit so far as I can tell. UCD is not only a customer, I am friends with literally every CF dev on campus, as I've worked there on and off since the 90s. The contract these guys seem to be trying to post is one that was put in place to work with student registration, and has been FILLED. I chatted with the director there yesterday about this. And he is unaware of any other CF contracts. I'm asking this company to give me details but in the meantime, please be careful giving your contact info or spending too much of your time and efforts on that job until I am given more info.

Absolutely a great place to work. There’s a few other openings but this CF one is a dud. Not sure if they are intentionally misleading people or if it’s an honest mistake but I’ve told them and they are ignoring me so I’m warning the community.

Sadly I'm in the wrong hemisphere now (temporarily at least) and my motivation to be in the California is no longer a thing so UC Davis probably isn't an option for me anymore. Good to hear it is well thought of though. 🙂

Coldfusion jobs and developers are like unicorns.

I interviewed with them back in sept, then again in sept. Asked me to do a demo app which I completed. After a couple of weeks they got back to me and said there was a hiring freeze. Guys name was Josh. Interview was with 3 people on video. Seemed legit
