Hi gang, has anyone had issues using the cfSpreadsheet extension with Lucee 6 (latest snapshot). I'm getting a

invalid component definition, can't find component [org.cfpoi.spreadsheet.Spreadsheet]

Initially I thought the installation process under 6 was not installing everything properly, but have since found that that the archive that contains

org.cfpoi.spreadsheet.Spreadsheet

is actually being installed and the component resource mapping is defined in the Lucee Server Admin. Environment is Windows Server 2022 Datacener Edition.

we just fixed a few issues today, does it work with 6.0.0.549-SNAPSHOT or later (always be specific with versions)

It still doesn't work with 6.0.0.552-SNAPSHOT

and this works under 5.4?

yeah, there are some mapping bugs @micha and I have been slogging away trying to resolve with 6

i recently switched over to spreadsheet cfml (or whatever that extension is), for what it's worth, and it wasn't too painful. my memory is fuzzy about why i switched but iirc, there were critical security vulnerabilities and it's no longer maintained.

Ya, we actually have both installed and have code written for both in our codebase. So I've downgraded for now, and have created an issue to refactor the code to use the cfspreadsheet cfml extension. I too can't remember what the name is.

I'll circle back to this thread and let you know when we have fixed the mapping issues for 6, it should just work
