So what are your favorite places to eat when you attend the conference? I want to venture outside of the hotel this year, in spite of what I saw when I did last year. 😲

Team ortus always goes to a brazillian steakhouse (@gpickin knows the name)

Though honestly, most places in Vegas are pretty nice

Las Pampas - it’s very close and you can always ask for the 2 for 1 deal - say you heard about the coupon.

The place I've always wanted to go is "Egg Slut". I hear such amazing things about it. The steakhouse in Mirage is actually extremely good, as is the high-end Italian spot (we hit the Italian spot for our keynote speakers each year and the service and food are always exemplary). I've heard good things about Bouchon as well.

Can't recommend Bouchon enough! πŸ™‚

I've always wanted to do one of the really good buffets like the one at Caesers or Bellagio, even though they are pretty expensive, and I'm not generally a big eater. The Mirage is one of the few main casinos that doesn't have one though. Here's a nice chart of most of the buffets in town with times, prices and detailed info on most. https://vegasfoodandfun.com/buffet-comparison-chart/

I'm really intrigued by Bouchon. Anyone care to join me for some fine dining?

Mary Jo, I know back in the day, the Bellagio Buffet on Thursdays was the one to hit. They had water-jet cut crab legs! It was amazing. No idea if that still exists (this was... oh good, um, 20 years ago? Yikes) but I bet it is still a solid one to hit up.

Yes the Bellagio buffer still considered one of the best, which of course means one of the most expensive and long line to get in typically. Although online reviews on sites like Yelp not as glowing as they have been in the past.
A lot of the top buffets will have snow crab legs, but of course the quality can be hit or miss.
