thakns for the 5.4.3.2 security fixes. i rolled it out. in addition to the missing action error on the overview pages in the admins (known issue), i also get this on the bundle page...

if it's just a page display issue, it's not very important to me, atm. it was when i was troubleshooting some extension stuff recently, but it's not a page i visit often.
actually, it's a preexisting condition. i rolled back to 5.4.2.17 (locally) and it's there, too. could just be our configuration.
it probably has to do with the fact that i recently started modifying luceee-server.xml to have a verbose
deploy.log
. there may be something about the file that lucee doesn't like.
i'm circling back around to this today because i actually do have a need to look at bundle info. i found that even if i don't touch
lucee-server.xml
, i'm still unable to reach the bundles view. a bare-metal docker light image doesn't have the problem, but my full-blown version does. @zackster, do you happen to have any theories based on the symptom and the stack trace?
Attn: @bdw429s, I've isolated it to the Ortus Redis extension. Repro case: https://gist.github.com/jamiejackson/71913734c06da3f85889472182e5bd89

CFML Admin code is
Copy code
return parseDateTime(arguments.headers["Built-Date"]);
where I'm guessing the headers came from an OGSI bundle
j
Yeah, I'm guessing the extension build created a malformed create date or something.
b
I'm not sure what the spec calls for
But this is from the OSGI manifest in the ORtus Redis extension
Copy code
Built-Date: 20230719125916
Lucee seems to be expecting a specific date format
j
Yeah
b
Hmm, can't find any official spec for that to save my life
Beginning to wonder if
Built-Date
is something just Lucee uses 🤔
Two things spring to mind as to what should be done • Lucee should do an
isDate()
check in the admin to weed out dates it doesn't know how to parse (cc/ @zackster) • Ortus should update our build process to use a more common date format (cc/ @lmajano @jclausen)
j
Any progress on this? Would be nice to have access to my bundles page.
j
Let me take a look at how that date in the manifest is generated today. It’s added by Gradle, I believe, but I should be able to format it to ISO

just in case it's related: https://cfml.slack.com/archives/C06TA0A9W/p1694185629659449 (fyi, @zackster thinks it's probably a lucee issue rather than an extension issue, at first glance)

Nah, update notifications are based on version numbers not dates

j
makes sense
j
@jamiejackson Looks like when we converted to Gradle, we did start using a different date format. I’m building a 3.1.0 snapshot right now which changes it to use ISO. I’ll PR a release for @lmajano to take look at when he gets back from vacation.

thanks for the update, jon
